Heads of business groups from Bahawalpur met at the University Guest House, Abbasia Campus, to discuss the launch of ‘BAHAWALPUR TOURISM.’ The Director of DoST hosted the meeting and, on behalf of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, extended full support in terms of volunteers and expertise to promote Bahawalpur as a Winter Tourism Destination.

Mian Attique, Director Bahawalpur Arts Council arranged a colurful ‘Tourism Day’ event at Rashidia Arts Council Bahawalpur. Paticipation was seen from people from every walk of life. Deputy Commisioner Bahawalpur vowed to help the stakeholders to promote Bahawalpur as a package for winter tourism. IUB was represented by Mr. Saji-ur-Rehman, Registrar IUB, Dr. Farhana Altaf Qureshi, Principal, University College of Art & Design and Mr. Salman Qureshi, Director, Directorate of Sustainable Tourism IUB.
